I just glanced over the prices on that link. WaltonFeed.com is cheaper on a lot of items. I recently bought their dehydrated fruit and veggie sample pack and I've been impressed by what I've tasted so far. I'm planning on making spaghetti this weekend to see how their tomato powder tastes--and in fact my search for less-expensive tomato powder is what led me to their site in the first place. They have a 50-lb. box of tomato powder for just over $200. This will last a long time with the vegetable soup recipes I've been working on, but I'd like to have a couple more boxes of that size tomato powder in my preps.

I know the guy that runs it is a first class prick.

He also runs a blog, and couple years ago he was building an underground hidey hole....used logs, then covered the logs with interior grade plywood and plastic. I wrote him to suggest the plastic would trap moisture from the dirt backfill, and rot out the plywood in a short time. He writes back something to the effect of "the old timers built wood root cellar and they did just fine"...then blocked me from even reading his bullshit, which is no real loss......considering the nature of it.

Andy, it looks like he's no longer writing the blog:

I find it ironic that a "survivalist" would throw in the towel on something like this.
